Is VideoLango free?

Yes. VideoLango 1.0 is free and works without an account.

Which languages can I learn?

The catalog has 546 videos in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Italian, Korean and Chinese. You can also paste a link to any YouTube video with subtitles.

Translations don’t appear.

The first time you translate into a language, iOS offers to download it. Allow the download and stay online until it finishes; after that, translation works without the internet. If it still doesn’t appear, check that the language is downloaded in the iOS Translate settings.

A video doesn’t play or has no subtitles.

VideoLango needs subtitles from YouTube. Some videos have none, and some owners don’t allow playback in other apps. Try another video.

Can I change the translation language?

Yes, in Profile. By default, translations appear in your device’s language.

How does the review schedule work?

Each saved word comes back after 1, 3, 7, 14, 30, 60 and 120 days.

How do I delete my data?

Everything is stored on your device. Deleting the app deletes your vocabulary and progress.
